No 3 Roebuck

1958 or later

 

 

This horse arrived in dreadful condition - missing stand, teeth and rotted-off feet.

A new stand was built, and as the pillar profile was not a genuine Roebuck design anyway and his repairs were so extensive we decided to

make him look a little more traditional, using brown leather to make a Roebuck-design saddle to give him an English look.
