Fergus is just a delight, a little period horse that would add oodles of character to a small corner or a dresser top. It's impossible not to smile when you see him, he's such a cheeky little chap. Possibly the most personality we've seen in a rocking horse!

We think that tampering with him will detract from his wonderful character and that he is fine just as he is but a light cosmetic restoration can be done.

Horses on swing stands that resemble Fergus do come up from time to time. Bows are rare. They exhibit the same "foal" legs, sharply turned heads and wide eyes. Not much is known about their maker but they are thought to come from Scotland.
