40" early bow - unattributed

Although 40" height would suggest a smallish horse, Gulliver is actually quite big, with a body length of 27"

He is unattributed and was thought to be from the same maker as Dauphin, but as he has rather more refinement to the way the head, neck and particularly throat are observed, we're not so sure.

He has had rather a hard life but will restore beautifully and be a fine antique in his own right.
