Ariadne's "baby sister"

A dainty sweetheart of a little horse to grace a small corner or a dresser top. Gigi is really very cute and fine, with a sweet, eager expression.

The remaining harness, with unusual looped crupper, is original and although tatty it will be used to make a pattern to enable us to make an accurate replica and helps to identify her maker. The fancy brass rosettes are intact and identical to those on Ariadne (at right). We are hopeful that original paint can be salvaged once existing enamel is carefully removed - we have been able to do this with Maisie, whose condition was not as good.
